Specialty Care for Children

Orthopedic Surgery

Children are not just little adults. Their bodies are unique. Our specialists recognize this and consider it in their treatment of problems. Our orthopedic surgeon is experienced in caring for children with injuries—from simple fractures and sprains to more complicated injuries and illnesses.

We diagnose and treat a wide range of problems related to children and adolescent’s bones, muscles and ligaments including:

  • Traumatic and sports injuries including bone fractures, joint dislocations, cruciate ligament tears or meniscal injuries to the knee
  • Bone and joint abnormalities such as clubfeet, hip dislocations, infections and developmental bone diseases
  • Spinal conditions including scoliosis
  • Joint pain, swelling and limited movement

Our orthopedic surgeon partners with orthopedic surgeons who specialize in certain areas of the body such as feet, hands, shoulders, spine, hips or knees and sports medicine injuries. He also works with other specialists including neurosurgeons and a pediatric rheumatologist.
